Reminders

My reminders aren’t arriving

• In Tendlets, go to Me and check that reminders are switched on, then tap Send a test reminder.
• Check notifications are allowed for Tendlets in your phone’s settings.
• On iPhone, Focus modes (like Sleep or Do Not Disturb) can hold notifications back.
• On Android, battery saving can delay notifications. Allowing Tendlets to run in the background helps.

Reminders are a friendly nudge and can occasionally be missed, for example if your phone is off. Please don’t rely on Tendlets alone for important medication.

My pet reminds me about something I’ve already done

Log it in the app and the reminder for it will stay quiet. Reminders are planned a few days ahead and update each time you log something.

Moving to a new phone

If you have an account, install Tendlets on the new phone, tap I have a backup, then Sign in to restore, and sign in with the same email. Everything comes back.

Without an account, use a backup code:

1. On your old phone, open Me and tap Back up my pet. Send the message to yourself, for example in Notes or a message.
2. On your new phone, open Tendlets and tap I have a backup (or Me, then Restore a backup).
3. Paste the whole message, check it’s the right pet, and bring them home. Your pets, habitats, treasures and sparkles all come with you.

If the backup won’t restore, copy the whole message again. A backup that’s been cut short or changed can’t be read, so nothing gets broken by accident.

Why is my pet sad?

Tendlets get a little sad when care is missed. They never come to harm from it, and a good day soon cheers them up.

Where did my pet go?

After about 50 days, a pet retires to a habitat you choose, and a new egg arrives. You can visit retired pets any time from the Habitats tab.

Your account

Accounts are optional. Sign in from Me, then Your account, with your email address: we email you a 6-digit code, so there’s no password. Your game then backs itself up as you play.

Using two phones

Sign in on both. When one phone has saved more recently, the other picks it up when you open the app. If both have changes, Tendlets asks which pet to keep.

The code email hasn’t arrived

Check your spam or junk folder, and wait a minute before asking for another code. Each code works for one hour.

Your information

Without an account, everything you log stays on your phone. To remove it, tap Start over in the Me tab, or delete the app. To delete your account and its backup, see delete your account. Our privacy policy has the details.
